This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association Championships to be held on 29 – 31 August 2024 at The David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Monmouthshire. NP26 5XP.

To qualify for the Championships: SWPA Members Enter one of the qualifying classes. Be either first or second in the class, and get your card signed. Take a picture of the card and upload via www.showingscene.com Non-SWPA Members Enter one of the qualifying classes. Register online at www.showingscene.com within 14 days of qualification Send an Email to RichardatSWPA@aol.com advising of the show you attended, the class entered, and the position gained. You will be sent Qualifying Cards for the Horses / Ponies registered. Please Note: Registration fee for 2023/4 is £25 to include all members of the family and equines owned by the family

This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2024. Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more .

Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July shows). Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status, please check the website for Terms & Conditions.

A, Brood mare with foal at foot, any type.

B, Foal, any type to be three weeks or older.

1. Best Turned Out. **

2. Best Condition. **

3. Best Grass Kept ( horse or pony at grass through year)

4.Best Veteran ( horse or pony to be 15 years or over).** Q

5. Best Coloured ( to include spotted, roan, dun, cream & palomino) Not to enter class 9.** Q

6. Best Stabled (horse or pony stabled full or part time)

7. Best Thelwell

8. Best Handler.**

9. Best Solid Colour (open to any bay, chestnut, black, grey, brown). Not to enter class 5.

10 Best M+M Type. .** Q

11. Best Miniature (up to 42”) Q

12. Best NON M+M type. Q

13 Young Stock, any type, 3 years and under.**

RIDDEN CLASSES Not before TO BE ADVISED

( if you don’t wish to canter please tell the judge then they can accommodate you.)

14. Best Lead Rein,** Q

15. Best First Ridden, no cantering required. Height of pony not to exceed 12.2 and age of rider 10 years old and under.** Q

16. Best Novice horse or rider horse or rider not to have won a first before January this year. No cantering required. ** Q

17. Best Family Horse/ Pony , no cantering required, snaffle bridles, no spurs.**

18. Best Rider .**

19. Best Combination, no cantering required.

20. Best Coloured ( to include spotted, roan, dun, cream & palomino) Not to enter class 22.** Q

21. Best Veteran (horse or pony to be the age of 15 years or over ) .** Q
